''Normal" you say huh?... I for would not call that emotional gut punch normal. They're both hurt from their relationships, but Baxter prefers to life with honesty even when he's playing tricks he was and being honest. 

Mylo is confused, hurt and afraid right now, he doesn't know how and is incapable of moving on from his damaged self-esteem, morale and love. He is in a fragile state and he'll need some time and help to heal and move on to a healthy relationship.... which is Baxter whether he admits it or not.
