I think both sides were in the wrong in this instance. While unintentional, what Baxter did was a painful reminder of what Mylo himself had with Jakob...feeling like he's not his loved one's priority or that he was not enough for someone, which was only worsened with his inferiority complex in regards to Emma. Basically, Baxter has to learn to communicate with Mylo better.
Mylo, having experienced Jakob's gaslighting and guilt-tripping...it makes sense why he's further folding into his shell, trying to protect himself until the bitter end. Still, he should have at least let Baxter explain his side of the story before thinking of whether or not to give him a chance. Then again, having a manipulative douche for an ex would understandably make him skittish around even the most genuine of confessions.
Overall, an amazing chapter filled with heartbreak and angst! Here's hoping that Mylo learns that he can't let his past mistakes with Jakob dictate his future with Baxter.
And with Baxter learning that he needs to be more considerate of Mylo's emotions, considering his sordid past relationship with Jakob and feeling like he doesn't have much to offer anyone who he does let in.

The story that could happen to anyone in real life. Every character is relatable. The spicy part doesn't spray all over the place.
The chapter 6 is so PEAK that makes me afraid the next sentence would be over. I want to see how the story goes but I don't want it to be the end.

I just finished chapter 6 and all i haveto say is that not for one moment i liked Jacob and I dont know if I was supposed to and I think it was bogus how he took advantage of mylo when he was drunk.
I've played this game for about 11 hours total now since I first played it (when build 1 appeared); , and seeing the new update, it's so awesome;
I wonder if anything happens more between the two, y'all leaving us on a cliffhanger :( The story is great, I look more to see what you will have in store for us. You're cooking 5-star meals over there.

This is one of those very cases when it is simply impossible not to leave a review. I came across this VN from a short game page for a game jam and, to be honest, I wasn't expecting anything big. And how wrong I was...
At first the story hooked me, but not much. But I gave it a chance and continued reading. and I'm incredibly glad I did it. the story is alive, each character feels real, and the relationships draw you in so much, as if you were standing next to them and experiencing it all with them. I really like the storytelling style and the issues that are raised in it. many of the thoughts and feelings that went into this VN were very close to me and made me truly empathize with the course of the story.
But if only the characters had sunk into my soul, I wouldn’t have written a review. Music. Lord God, I really want to thank and praise all those people who wrote the music for this VN. And not only music, but entire songs! Songs! In a visual novel about a musical gang! It would seem that there is nothing to be surprised about, but it simply amazed me incredibly. Thank you more for being such great guys, I can’t.
I can’t help but praise the visual component of the novel, because it completely complemented and improved the set: “I see, I hear, I feel.” Well-developed characters, it is clear that a piece of soul was invested in creating each of them. When I see them smiling, crying, being shy, thinking, I feel them alive and so close to my heart.

I don't know why but I thought this story was finished. So imagine the gasp of a sheer, immense despair that I released when I was graced with a "To be continued". Don't know if this is favorite territory just yet... but this is quite possibly the most "Blue-balled" I have felt after an update in quite a while. Im thoroughly impressed with the writing style and the comedic at times yet thorough expression that have been given to these characters and I suppose. I got a lot of good laughs, second-hand embarrassment and plenty of entertainment from what is so far done. God, I jumped into this with mild expectations but wow. I'm in love with the story, the characters, the songs and writing...
Mylo's situation is an all too familiar one, but seeing him slowly feel all the affection that he has wanted for the past 8 months is so satisfying. Reading as he got into that car made me want to pull my hair out, but I was hooked, then the text the morning after... Wow. Cannot say I wasn't disappointed in Mylo for falling for it again, also cannot say I wasn't disappointed the chapter ended there. Cannot wait for May 5th! I'm really excited to see what you have cooked up as the story continues!
